Rule of thumb : If you have four or more symptoms every day for 2 weeks or more, you have depression.

 

If you have severe symptoms and if you have recurrent thoughts that the only way to solve the problem is to commit suicide, this is not true and you need professional help to help you see that this is not true. Contact a mental health professional as soon as possible.

If you are experiencing confusion, vision problems, palsy or any loss of consciousness, you must see a medical doctor immediately or your symptoms may become more severe. Insulin shock is a medical emergency. If your pancreas produces too much insulin too fast, it can cause insulin shock which is triggered by drinking alcohol, eating a lot of sweets, fasting, or certain medications.
