Hypothyroid - deficient activity of the thyroid gland; also: a resultant lowered metabolic rate and general loss of vigor. (Webster’s Dictionary)

HOW TO TEST FOR HYPOTHYROIDISM:

Put a thermometer, paper, pencil and eyeglasses (if you need them to read your thermometer) on your bed stand or nightstand ( by your bed) before you go to sleep. In the morning, when you wake up and before you get out of bed, put the thermometer under your arm for 15 minutes. Don’t move, and lay still for the 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes, read the thermometer and if it reads less than 97.6 degrees, that tells you that you have an underactive thyroid. Write down the number of your reading and take the same test for 2 more times to make sure.
